Called in January 2016 to order a prop for a Tohatsu outboard through his service center. as of April, 2016, still no prop, Every time I call he's going to do it soon... Says he wants to consolidate orders to save money. I am not used to three month wait times on a part order, even ordering directly from China via Hong Kong Parcel Post. (I am used to walking in to the shop counter and the tech handing me the part with cash on delivery, particularly if they advertise that they are an "authorized Tohatsu Service Center") Take home lesson for me: If you need work done > $1400.00 he may have time for you. Small time customers, forget this operation and go with iBoat or Amazon. He does return calls though within a week or two if you leave two or three messages on his answering machine.
I needed work on my jetski so I took It in to be fixed 2.5 months ago and I still don't have it back and summer is almost over, I have called 20 times this last week and left a voicemail each time and nothing was returned. The only way to get in touch is to find a time they're open and go in yourself. Do not take anything here.
